Now fully opened, the launch will give visitors the opportunity to be one of the first to view this brand new, luxury retirement village.  The £40 million Richmond Aston-on-Trent village features all the facilities that have made the other Richmond villages so popular, including a wellness spa with swimming pool and gym, hair and beauty salon, a library, IT room, terrace café, quality restaurant and garden bar, and croquet lawn all set within beautifully landscaped grounds.  Activities, events and a village transport service are also provided.

Throughout the day there will be the opportunity to view the retirement apartments and the state-of-the-art care home.  The retirement village provides two types of apartments; large one and two bedroom Village Apartments which provide an independent lifestyle, and Village Suites which offer assisted living for those who wish to retain their independence but require some assistance with daily tasks.

Joanne Wilson, the village manager, will be on hand to meet interested parties and to introduce her colleagues from the village’s hospitality, care, activities, catering and maintenance teams.

“We are immensely proud of what we have achieved at Richmond Aston-on-Trent and I am confident it will become the benchmark for retirement villages in the UK,” says Paddy Brice, managing director of Richmond Villages.

“We want to give people a real flavour for what living at this all new Richmond village is like and ensure they get the information they need on all aspects of Richmond retirement living. Whether thinking of moving to one of the retirement apartments and interested in finding out about the fantastic social community that is developing here, or searching for an exceptional care home for a loved one, we look forward to welcoming you.”

Village suites start from £185,000 and include a bedroom with en-suite shower room, sitting room and a fully fitted kitchenette.  Village suites provide assisted living for those who wish to retain their independence but require some assistance with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning and laundry, and come with an emergency 24-hour call system to the on-site care team, plus wellness spa membership.

“These properties are ideal for those who like the idea of being in a safe and sociable community with care and assistance close at hand if required.  There will also be the opportunity to view our Village apartments which provide a more independent lifestyle.  We listened carefully to what our clients wanted in these properties hence these one and two bedroom retirement apartments provide large living space with unrivalled facilities,” added Mr Brice.  Village apartments start from £295,000 for a one bedroom apartment and from £335,000 for a two-bedroom.
