Consultancy shortlisted for Chartered Institute of Public Relations (CIPR) award

LawsonClarke PR has successfully been re-audited for the elite Consultancy Management Standard, required for continued membership of the Public Relations Consultancy Association (PRCA).

The standard, which is held by relatively few PR consultancies in the UK, combines elements of ISO 9000 and Investors in People and looks at various aspects of the business, including leadership and communication, client satisfaction and campaign management.

LawsonClarke’s 10 strong Cirencester based team was particularly commended by the assessor as demonstrating a “very high degree of compliance and best practice.”

Endorsed by numerous business leaders including Patricia Hewitt, secretary of state for trade and industry, Iain Burns, head of corporate communications at British Airways and Carolyn Munton from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply, Digby Jones, former director general of the CBI, said: “The PRCA Consultancy Management Standard is an important initiative in helping its members offer externally-assessed, quality public relations services to British and international businesses.”

Jeremy Clarke, managing director of LawsonClarke PR commented: “We are very pleased with the results of the audit.  We strive to offer excellent client service, and with only 160 consultancies in the UK having attained the standard, are confident our service levels are amongst the best in the industry.”

Shortlisted for CIPR Award

LawsonClarke PR has also reached the finals of the CIPR PRide awards in the South West of England.

Shortlisted in the Low Budget category, the campaign, ‘Come and view the evidence’, was for the launch of Brabantia’s new range of fingerprint proof kitchen and houseware products.

LawsonClarke is up against two other regional finalists, and the awards ceremony takes place in Bristol in February 2007.

Founded in Cirencester in 1981, the consultancy is currently celebrating its 25th anniversary.
