LawsonClarke PR has continued to support youth rugby teams in Cirencester and presented its annual trophy, as part of the LawsonClarke Youth Bursary.

The bursary, now in its third year, helps children playing in the Cirencester Rugby Football Club (CRFC) mini and youth sections, and each year LawsonClarke PR also presents a trophy to the most deserving player.  This year it was awarded to George Atkins who plays for the Under 11s.  George was commended for the grit and determination he showed throughout the season, as well as his regular attendance and contribution to team spirit.

Established in partnership with the club, the Bursary helps with the purchase of essential equipment, contributes towards transport costs and assistance with tours for the mini and junior teams.

Commented Jeremy Clarke, managing director at LawsonClarke PR, “It’s very rewarding to offer local children the chance to fully participate in a team sport.  The youth players at the CRFC train hard all season and we are pleased to offer them added support and encouragement.”

LawsonClarke PR has been based in Cirencester for over 25 years, and specialises in several specific markets including automotive, leisure, home interest, property and business-to-business.
